The Architect

Brian Bass

Brian’s passion for creating meaningful architecture is powerfully expressed in his work on the Eden Point resort development in Eden, NSW. Known for his organic modernism style, Brian approached the project as an opportunity to design structures that feel inherently connected to the land. His designs for the Conference Centre, the 4.5 Star Hotel, and the premium serviced apartments reflect the philosophy of clean, liveable spaces the harmonize with coastal landscape. Describing his process as allowing the building to “grow from the earth.” Brian’s envisioned Eden Point as more than a destination - it’s a seamless extension of its surroundings, where beauty, functionality and environmental sensitivity come together.

Eden Point is more than a resort, it's a place where architecture and landscape come together in harmony. Capturing detail from the contours of the hotel, to the texture of the residences. Drawing from the natural rhythm of the landscape to create a serene sense of place.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Thaua (or Thawa) people, who are part of the larger Yuin Nation as the Traditional Owners of the Country upon which Eden is located. We pay respect to Elders past and present, and express our deep gratitude for our interactions with Thaua Elders to date.
